Here We Go Again

Hi everybody!

So, my last blog went great until I stopped writing in it near the end of exchange. Since then I finished out my exchange in Santander, Spain, went on the euro tour, came back to Fairfield, Iowa, and finished out my senior year at MSAE. This past week I had the experience of a lifetime being a counselor at RYLA. It has been a good year and a lot of fun, however more fun is just around the corner, as I was accepted to spend another year abroad repeating my senior year João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil.

I will be leaving for this second amazing opportunity in just a few short days. I leave Cedar Rapids Aug 5th, after exactly 365 days back in the states. But before that I’m going to be quite busy. I am writing this in the middle of my chaotic room while taking a break from packing. I also leave for Chicago tomorrow morning, where I will spend the night in a hostel, then pick up my visa and return to Fairfield before departing on Wednesday. Everything is going good, it's a controlled sort of chaos.

I hope that this time I will be better about writing in my blog. My experience last time was that I had lots and lots to write about at first, but later there was less content, I can’t exactly say oh boy I went to school again and had a normal day again, no you don’t want to read that! So with that being said I will just go with the flow and see how frequent my posts end up being. If you do want more updates about what I am doing rather than the blog posts you can follow me on instagram, I generally post photos every week, if not every day. I also will create a page on this blog where I will put massive amounts of photos of my travels.
